five things challenge – Day 23: Five TV/Movie (B)romances

I'm weird. I don't love romance movies. They're not my fave. I like a comedy, a drama, a superhero movie – but movie romances usually leave a lot to be desired. I'll do my best.

1. Tom Hanks and Meg Ryan in You've Got Mail. I love that they hate each other, but fall for each other online under their screenames, then he realizes who she is and they meet at the end and she says she hoped it was him. Man, I can write a run-on sentence like nobody's business.

2. Harry and Sally. His speech to her at the end about he loves the way she orders everything on the side and how she gets the crease between her eyes gets me.

3. Bromance – Denny Crane and Alan Shore in Boston Legal. I loved them. I miss that show.

4. George and Weezie Jefferson in The Jeffersons. Now that was a relationship.

5. OMG – Will Hunting (Matt Damon) and Skylar (Minnie Driver) in Good Will Hunting. When Robin Williams read the note from Will, "Sean, if the Professor calls about that job, just tell him, sorry, I have to go see about a girl," I lose it. He drives cross country to see Skylar. Now, that's a movie.
